At Carboy Winery, we work hand in hand with select growers to produce outstanding wines that are a representation of the unique regions in which we work. The soil in the Dry Creek Valley was deposited over thousands of years and is primarily gravelly and sandy loam – deep, well drained and fertile dirt that produces good crops of flavorful grapes which produce juice with a beautiful red color.
