Winemaker's Notes

The counterpart to our cult classic, Blan.CO white blend, Carboy Winery is proud to introduce the CO.lorado Red Blend. This red wine invites you to experience subtle notes of leather with a bouquet of cracked pink peppercorn, violet, and blackberry. Its delicate tannins and medium-bodied texture deliver notes of dark plum and blackberry. A hint of black tea on the finish leaves you ready for the next sip. The name CO.lorado originates from the Spanish word for "colored red". This was the name given for Colorado as a Territory by Congress in 1861, and it kept the name when becoming the 38th state on the Centennial anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1876. It is in honor of, and with great love and admiration for our home state that we dedicate thisred blend.
